5/3/2017 Meeting

Today we welcomed DG Linda Young to our meeting. The DG spent some time talking about Membership. The district Goal for this year was to get 100 new members and to charter two new clubs. So far One new Club (Whitehall) has been chartered and the second club (Upper Perkiomen) will be chartered soon. Currently the district has gained 5 new members...seemed odd since they just chartered a new club but a gain of 144 was offset by a loss of 139 members for various reasons (death, relocation and personal).

It is important that clubs" Do What Works for Them"! Experiment...don't just continue to do something because it works for current members...expand! Try something new! Think about what we can try...how about a Happy Hour Meeting (our HHour was pretty successful last week..lets do it again), how about a service project to count as a meeting, or meet for lunch...think about new ways to meet then share your ideas with the board!!!
