SPEAKER: Melinda Goodwin Hatboro Residents Association (HRA)

"The small town with a big heart" is how Melinda describes Hatboro. The HRA is all about bringing the community together. With about 250 members, they have a long list of accomplishments. Perhaps they are most proud of their Community Garden Program. They began with 2 gardens and now have 13 throughout the town including at the schools and library. 583 lbs of fresh produce from these gardens has been donated to local food banks that feed the community,school children and, the elderly. One of their goals is to encourage support of local businesses. Become a member for $15 and get discounts to many local restaurants and businesses.
