SPEAKER: GAIL LINENBERG FROM DOYLESTOWN ROTARY (Bob Powers Daughter!)
Can you imagine not having access to healthcare? On the Native American Reservations in New Mexico you will find Navajo, Zuni and Hopi Nations.  Doylestown Rotary is undertaking a Global Project to provide a South West Mobile Medical Clinic that will travel to remote areas of the reservation to provide that care. There are currently 6 chapter houses on the reservation and the mobile clinic would visit each one once a week providing medical care, health education, and nutrition education There are currently partnerships with Gallup NM Rotary Club, Rehobith McKinley Heath Services and many others to make this project a reality. Currently there is already a connection with this area through the Doylestown Hospital Nurses and the University of New Mexico in Gallup Nursing students exchange program. What a wonderful project! Thank you Gail for your presentation.
