Our thanks to Herb for passing along helpful ideas on attracting new members and retaining those already in the club.
Herb, a member of Allentown West , shared with us some ideas from his club and others in the district. By joining the local chamber and going to networking events was a great way to connect and spread the word about Rotary. Some other ideas include monthly Happy hours; Corporate Memberships; mentoring new members and passing out business cards with information about rotary. It is important to note that trying new things does not always provide immediate results so don't give up , the idea will catch on.
