Today we welcomed Monica and Annelise and their parents. These are 8th graders at Keith Valley and were recommended by their teachers to attend the Stem yea Academy due to their interest and aptitude for science, technology, engineering and math
The girls enjoyed the program at the College and gave a nice presentation regarding the program:
Highlights:
- Class was everyday with an emphasis on experiments.
- Speakers were from the college and also from NASA
- Students built a Model Space camp and a model space ship.
- They also built a landing mechanism.
- The girls did many interesting things at camp, made life long friends and got a wider view of the world.
