Pennypack Elemetary School Robotics Program using Legos:
A new Robotics program was introduced to grade 1-3 where the students first build a prototype of their project on the iPad . When it is perfected,they begin to build. This year’s project was a water project.
They fund the project through their relationship with the HH educational foundation (Rotary is a donor)
Kevin Deissler (teacher) feels that it is important build the foundation at an early age.
Mr. Deissler expressed the importance of how the students learned through trial and error.
Students compete in competition in December. Core values are incorporated into the judging of the project.
Different challenges are introduced and the students are judged based on how they handle the challenge.
